Last Fun Night Out

Hey people.

Im still here with tummy of netball size ( ceceh. biase org sebut basketball, but i prefer netball :)

Working still, waiting for the D-Day while currently reading my much awaited Ina May's Guide to Childbirth Book. ( Ordered through Amazon and reached me in 3 days je ok! mind you i ordered on Friday night, received on Monday!) what a great service! Its almost thursday but Alhamdulillah, managed to finish up all the works that i planned to finish up before deliver :) and hence, the blogging too =)

Anyway, last Saturday , me and Mr went to Nurul's birthday dinner ( though my OB advised me to be near Seremban, but i never miss her bday dinner) so off we went to celebrate her night.

Was planning to pergi sekejap jer.. haaa.. kau.. we got back at wee hours and reached home almost Subuh! i have my Mr by my side all the time, so if anything happen. he can just drive me to the hospital kan

Its been ages since i was up that late. Kinda reminded me of the layback uni times, ( during holiday and weekend) .. definitely wont be able to do that anymore once the lil angel pop up from my oven :) BUt i really had fun that night ( they reminded me repeatedly not to laugh hardly as they were afraid my baby could pop out anytime!)

But what i love the most about that night, is how special it was! The fine dining was prepared by the birthday girl herself. When we receive the invitation card, i thought it was just like another makan-makan /hang out at her crib in Bangsar. But nahh.. i was totally wrong! The beautiful ambience of table setting by the pool with candles! ( It was earth hour ok!) But so cantik ok!

and mind you, this placemat's design, menu card, was designed by Nurul herself! :)

I wish i brought my camera with me, but my iphone was all i have..

and my bad, i didnt even have the birthday girl's picture all dressed up prettily.

(only this when she was serving the food to the guests), but still she look pretty :)

And the 3-course meals menu COOKED by her was superb! ( well she was , and still is like our master chef back in Brisbane, so memang expected la sedap!)

If i was in a posh restaurant, i wouldnt be able to have extra SERVINGS and asyik tambah the lamb cutlets :) byk kali ok! ( ish.. i was really eating for two! )

Well done Nurul! and thanks for having err 'feeding' us :)

and of course, what made us stayed back that late that night was..

...board game ;) it was cranium time .

all in all, i really had fun that night, and knowing it would be the last time that i could spend time like that mcm sedey la pulak! But dont get me wrong! i really look forward to parenthood :) so that night was like a closure to both of us :) ( unless tetibe, the grannies offer to look after the baby while we are out having fun.. NAHHH... dont think so! )

so now, back to baby, pls-come-out-soon, mummy&daddy-are-waiting time :)
