Staying Late At Work

The only reason i'd do that if i have meeting or important deadlines ( say 6pm on dat day) to submit reports. But it wont never be more than one hr!

Personally i dont believe in staying late to do work. I love my job very much, for that Thank You Allah. And i think i always have something to keep me bz during the day. I dont think i ever say, im bored on dat day ke ape.. Cos there will always ALWAYS be something to settle everyday like dr's request, pts counsellg, stok ubat xde etc etc on top of the ongoing work/ observation/preparation/ reports that i have to do.

But at the end of d day, i always go back at 5. And yet i still manage to finish my work on time. Well, prioritise is d keyword. Every morning i would prioritise my to-do list on my planner. So i'd do the importnt ones n im between that,dispensing
Meds, seeing patients, attendg d doctors etc. But one thing for sure i dont take long break for tea ke bfast ke coffee break. I usually do it on d go or at least 5 mins max!I even pump out my milk while im working. But i take solid lunch hr break whre usually is d bonding time wif my staff. U got to have good relationship wif your staff/colleagues/boss. ;)

( but sometimes sadly bile patients ramai sgt, makan pun x sempat ok!! Cos clinic opens during lunch hr too)

But Alhamdulillah, i usually get to
Spend time wif my family by 5.30 pm ;) thats d beauty of not living in KL ;) No traffic jam dat hinder u to b back on time. sometimes, d latest wud b 6 la. Well unless if i have to do night oncall ;( once a month sadly )

I feel bad when i usually tell my boss/ colleagues that im going homee. Sbb they always stay till 6-7?! My boss even told me she always stay back when she ws my age! ;) but err, to do what? ;) i usually tell them, i miss my baby ;) heheh actually d fact is ,ITS ALL DO-ABLE within 8-5pm ( for my job nature la!) and my reports all kene hantar at d end of d month, bukannye can hantar few days awal ke.. Cos we need d data for d whole month. So wat i do, every week i kumpul bit by bit. Dont have to wait till end of d month to compile evrytg. I dont know whether its Malaysian culture ke ape yg love to stay back, chit-chat a bit sambil2 keje.. Sorryy not my way, i chit chat juge time keje, but kje jalan.. To chit chat2 after work.. Nooo ;) When it comes to family time, its family time. When it comes to work, u work hard! No need to take breakfast or lunch lama2..borak2 menjual barang, bergossip ( as they claimed civil servants do, im a civil servant, but i dont do that! I think im always busy jee )

But dont get me wrong, i do stay late IF , only if i have legitimate reasons..if i really have to. But i wont make it as a habit. Im sorry Boss! ;)
